Love-In Production Team - Steve Anthony & Jill Mesarus

STEVE ANTHONY& JILL K. MESAROS (choreographers)
Steve is one of the original 22 Broadway dancers hand-picked by Michael Bennett to participate in a series of workshops which led to the production of A Chorus Line.  As a result, part of Steve's life story is portrayed in that hit show.  Steve's other Broadway credits include SeeSaw, Spotlight, Rockabye Hamlet and The Act starring the electrifying Liza Minelli.  During his Broadway career, Steve worked with such great director/choreographers as Gower Champion, Hal Prince, Tommy Tune, Peter Gennaro, Martin Scorcese and Graciella Daniel.

Jill is co-owner and Producing Director for Miracle Theatre Productions (MTP), the award-winning company that operated the Theatre in Old Town for 15 years, bringing San Diego open-ended commercial hits including Forever Plaid, Beehive, Forbidden Broadway, Shear Madness, I Love You, You’re Perfect Now Change Too Old For The Chorus and The Male Intellect an Oxymoron. Together Steve and Jill have directed/choreographed numerous regional theatre productions around the country, some favorites include: Hello Dolly, The Rocky Horror Picture Show, 42nd Street and Lucky Stiff.  In San Diego for Miracle Theatre Productions choreography credits include: Song of Singapore, Gilligan’s Island:The Musical,
2 x5 and The All Nite Strut for which they won a San Diego Theatre Critic’s Choice Award.  Jill’s choreography was also featured in the critically acclaimed Beehive.
