Christina Adams

Christina Adams has written, produced, and served as music supervisor on over 100 projects for television, film, and stage. She has worked for many studios and production companies, including Disney/ABC, Warner Bros., Universal, CBS, NBC and OWN. Her television specials include: CBS Presents: Oprah with Meghan and Harry, OWN Spotlight: Where Do We Go From Here?, Oprah At Home with Lupita Nyongo and Cynthia Erivo, Oprah Winfrey Presents When They See Us Now, Oprah’s Super Soul Conversations from Times Square, Oprah’s Master Class: Belief Special, Oprah’s Master Class: Civil Rights Special, First Lady Michelle Obama: An Oprah Winfrey Special, HBO’s Oprah Winfrey Presents: After Neverland, Oprah Winfrey Presents: Becoming Michelle Obama, and Oprah Goes To Broadway: The Color Purple. Her television series include multiple episodes of: Oprah’s Book Club, The Oprah Conversations, Oprah’s Master Class, Super Soul Sunday, Oprah: Where Are They Now?, The Queen Latifah Show, Ellen’s Game of Games, Mental Samurai, Planet Primetime, Tough as Nails, and The Amazing Race.

Christina produced the original stage production and documentary, Primal Twang: The Legacy of the Guitar starring Grammy Award-winning guitar greats, Eric Johnson, Albert Lee and Doc Watson. The film aired nationally on PBS and won Best Documentary Feature at the Rome International Film Festival. She also produced the world premiere stage production, Love-In: A Musical Celebration, starring Broadway legend Ben Vereen and the Love-In music documentary, which also aired nationally on PBS.

Christina and her writing partner, Anthony Leigh Adams recently completed their debut novel, Chasing Shadows, the story of an American family that is torn apart when a loving father and respected college professor vanishes, leaving his 20-year-old daughter a note stating he has a new life and must never see her again. Her international search to find him uncovers her family’s dark secrets, upending everything she thought she knew about her life. Acorn Publishing will release the novel in June 2025.
